QSWG Meeting: April 11

The next Queer Studies Working Group meeting will be Monday, April 11, 3-4 pm, in Glasscock rm. 311. We’ll be discussing Maria San Filippo’s “Unthinking Heterocentrism: Bisexual Representation in Art Cinema” (in Global Art Cinema: New Theories and Histories, ed. Rosalind Galt and Karl Schoonover, Oxford UP, 2010).

On Tuesday, March 22,  4:00 pm in Glasscock rm. 311, the Early Modern Studies Working Group is sponsoring a lecture by Harriette Andreadis (TAMU, Department of English) entitled “Sappho’s Twisted Sisters: Hermaphrodites in Early Modern England.” This lecture is free and open to the public.
